The three poems of The Passion of Lagamas are a conceit describing the scene of the last supper, the betrayal and passion of Christ in the contemporary location of the village of Saint Jean-de-Fos, and the Château de Lagamas in the Languedoc region of Southern France.

Musarc is pleased to present vocal artist Melanie Pappenheim and composer Neil Luck as part of its annual series of mini-commissions inviting artists to create a new work for the choir that can be introduced and rehearsed in just one hour, and premièred the same day.
With a performance by sound artist Hannibal Andersen and a screening of Sam Belinfante’s short film Focus.
The choir performs work by Samuel Barber, Zoltán Kodály, Ola Gjeilo and Orazio Vecchi.
