Musarc & Melanie Pappenheim: Again, Again

Choral ensemble Musarc teame up with singer, composer and performer Melanie Pappenheim to create a dramatic collage that explores the spaces of the gallery, and sets music and physical performances in response to themes in exhibitor Peter Dreher's paintings. Surrounding the idea of repetition, iteration and compulsion, Musarc presented a broad spectrum of choral works from Knut Kysted's Immortal Bach to new, site-specific performances and some of Musarc's previous commissions, including Corpus Sonus by Sam Belinfante for voices and dictaphones, and Namesaying by Neil Luck.
